No More SLR with Olympus Pen

I have lots of friends who switched to using a DSLR instead of point and shoot camera. Well of course if you love to take photos getting an SLR is the right thing to do. But then I saw an ad of OLYMPUS PEN and it made me wonder if it has the same capability as an SLR does based on what they are saying on their ad. The size of OLYMPUS Pen is almost the same as a point and shoot camera which make it ideal for those who doesn’t want to carry bulky camera but wants to have a quality pictures. It has intuitive automatic menu for beginners and unique design of onboard flash. You can change the lens if you want to same with an SLR. I checked the price and it is the almost the same as an SLR. So it is up to you if you want to switch to Olynpus Pen in shor it all boils down on your need. I have a point and shoot camera right now and I may get myself a new camera in the next few months. As of now, I’d like to know more about the cameras available to find out which one I need.

Dream Again

I am a Takashi Sorimachi fan. I love his dramas and I have watched some of them. Last week I watched "Dream Again." Like "Hot Man" I liked it too. It is a good drama for you'll get to learn a lot of things from it. Given a second chance in life what will you do? That made me think of what I really want in life. The story is about a former baseball player who had to retire because of a shoulder injury. One day he decided that he wants to go back playing professional baseball. Unfortunately, he died without fulfilling his dreams. But he was given a second chance. His soul was transferred to another body for one condition he cannot tell anybody who he is otherwise, he will vanish. The drama tells us not to give up in our dreams. It has ten episodes which made it really easy to finish. Actually I was able to finish it for two days (I didn't watch it the whole day of course) I love his series because it is light and heart warming. I hope that I will still be able to watch other drama the same concept as his previous dramas.

2011 JPop Anime Singing Contest Grand Finals

I am excited for the finals of 2011 JPop Anime Singing Contest. It will be held on July 23, 2011 in Megamall and I'm sure that I will enjoy that show. I hope that I'll see my college friends in that said show because I heard that some of them will be watching. This is the first time that I will watch JPop Anime Singing Contest. I watched the video of last year's performers in YouTube and I must say they are all good. I'm sure that all contestants this year will bring us a good show. I may sound weird but again listening to anime music makes me feel at ease because it brings back good memories since I was child and that makes anime music special to me. Back then I used to buy anime CDs and DVDs. I'd join that contest if I am a good singer but unfortunately I am not.

It is Time for Transformers: Dark of the Moon

Today is June 28 and tomorrow we’ll be out to watch TRANSFORMERS: Dark of The Moon. Been waiting for its third installment but I’m quite disappointed for Megan Fox is no longer included in the cast of the said film. I feel that the movie will never be the same without Megan. I’m not a fan of Megan but I’m thinking that the movie will be different since she’s no longer part of the movie. I mean she was there since the first movie so most of us used to see her running around chasing by alien robots with Shia Labeouf.  Well even if I have this feeling I can’t help it but to watch it. Because my baby brother will watch it and I need to accompany him. I have watched it from the beginning so I want to make sure that I’ll get to watch the third installment. Plus everyone for sure will be talking about it and I don’t want to be left behind. Saw the trailer and I can say that they really put everything to make this film a great movie. I guess no one will argue with me if I say that the sound and graphics is good. I’ll see what will happen tomorrow then.

iPhone or Blackberry?

In my job I need a phone because sometimes they need to contact me or I need to check emails regularly but sometimes I am not at home. Since I lost my phone three months ago now I need to get a new one. I don't know which one to choose between iPhone and Blackberry. They have different features which means I should choose a phone depending on my needs.With iPhone you can do all sorts of multimedia stuff which very appealing to me but the question is do I need it? Blackberry has features such as emails, BBM where you can chat with other Blackberry users which most of my office mates are doing but I find that phone boring. I mean I find it so simple and I feel that it is the same as other phones. I will decide which one to buy next week though I find Blackberry simple I am not closing my doors to Blackberry because it has features that I need but iPhone? (love iPhone). I guess I need to read reviews in CNet Asia to find out more about those two phones. I wish I can buy them both but it will be very stupid.

My tita is a good cook. She used to work as a cook in a food concessionaire in Claret School of Quezon City. She's a good cook and she knows a lot of stuff when it comes to catering services. Online Selling Experience

Like what I have mentioned in my previous post. I tried selling my old stuff in TipidPC.com. Guess what? After 30mins I received messages from interested buyers. At first I didn't know what to do because this is my first time to sell online but everything went well. I was able to sell my used Power Supply for 300.00 Php and someone will buy the motherboard later for 700 Php which means I will have at least 1000 Php before the day ends. Now I am starting to think that this can be a good business. I want to try online selling so now I am thinking what items should I sell online? I don't have old stuffs to sell so I can't do that anymore but what I am thinking is what can I sell online. 

Something New

I didn't have anything to do yesterday so I went online and suddenly I decided to do something exciting. I thought I don't I try selling my old stuff online I might earn money and I will have something to do. So I search for items to sell and I found a Power Supply that I never get to use because I thought I need to replace my PC's power supply but it turned out that the power supply is still working and what I need to replace is its memory module. I thought why don't I sell it? Then, I saw my a used motherboard. So I have two items that I can sell all I have to do now is to post it online. I went to TipidPC.com and post my items on that website. I am excited to hear anything from my "interested buyers" because this is the first time that I will sell something. TipidPC.com is just like an ebay but it mainly caters to computer parts unlike ebay you can see everything . I hope someone will be interested to buy my items and if this continues I may be able to sell items online and it can be a good business.

Lesson Learned

I learned a lesson this year and that is not to get a loan. My friend and I applied for a salary loan to a lending company. They required a lot of documents which I can understand but the problem is their process which I really don’t understand. I mean it is clear that I pay twice a month but what I don’t understand is why my checking account closed and they are claiming that they did not receive any payment. I applied for a loan way back April. I thought everything is okay I am paying twice a month until I received a phone call from a collections agency asking me to pay. I am so scared that I called the bank and they told me that there are floating funds under my name. They said my account closed last September and they can only get the funds if they have the receipt. I understand that but the question is why they didn’t inform me about it if it started last September. So they waited few months to inform me that my account’s messed up. They are asking me to pay a penalty for each bounced check and what is shocking is that the amounts are almost the same as the amount that I am paying. I was able to obtain a copy of my deposits from UCPB. One of their “collections agent” came to ask for my payment again and he took the copy of my receipt. After a week another “collections agent” dropped by and I told that agent (JAY) everything so he called Joy (whoever that evil woman is) and she confirmed that my account is updated. Jay “collections agent” even apologized to me about what happened. Now I thought that everything is okay so I started paying again. But then they called me stating again that I am not paying. I called their collections agency (Annapolis) and asked for Joy. I asked for the issue and explained everything again (to think that she’s the one who confirmed that everything is updated). To my surprise instead of explaining everything she said she didn’t received anything and she’s saying foul words to me. She even told me not to bother calling them and they will just forward my account to legal department.
                One thing is clear to me all they want is money. Applying for a loan in Global Dominion is the biggest mistake that I have made in my life. I hope that they treat their customers well and care for their customers and not just their money. For those who work in Annapolis collections agency I hope they find a decent job that will not require them to be rude. And to Joy (whoever you are) I hope you will learn how to be professional. I am not surprised that you are accepted in that company because you are a rude person. I don’t even know if you know how to work professionally.

Listen Online

I love to listen to music while surfing the net well most of the people I know does the same thing. I don’t have a lot of Mp3s saved in my computer so I had to search for streaming sites where I can listen to the songs that I want to listen. I just want to share the site that I am using which can be useful to those people who loves to listen to music. What’s good to this streaming site is you have the option to register and create your own playlist or you can just visit the site and search for the songs that you want to listen create a temporary list and then you’re ready to listen to all the songs that you selected but mind you that once your closed the page the list that you created will be lost because you didn’t register but I still find it cool. The site that I am telling you is Grooveshark.com. I’ve been using that site since last year and I decided to write about it when I saw my brother having a hard time searching for a music streaming site that is easy to use. Their site is user friendly which is ideal for everyone.

During my teenage years (now I'm 26 and I feel so old) I love Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears because of their songs. I've stayed as a Backstreet fan until now so you can say that I've been a fan for more than 14 years which I'm so proud of. For me they music on back then was way better than todays' music. I don't know maybe as you mature you tend to have a different taste in music. I remember my Mom kept on telling me before when I used to watch MTV the whole time she's always telling me that the singers when she was young is better than the singers that I know so I think I'm going through the same stage lol. I saw their performance with New Kids on the Block and I was really amazed because I felt like I am teenager again. I brings me back in time where I don't care about anything but MTV. I know I sound crazy but for me they still rocks! I love Nick Carter. I like him so much I must say he's good as well as his band mates I just want to let you all know because they have different characteristics so you can't really say that he's better and the others guys are not. It's too bad that people grow old and everything changes but it is still good to remember everything sometimes.

Best Summer Ever

Like what I have said in my previous post that we will go and have fun in Quezon. There are lots of beautiful places here in the Philippines and I must say that Mt Pinagbanderahan, Bantakay Falls, and Bantakay Cave are one of the beautiful places that I've been to. It is very exhausting but everything was worth it. First day we didn't do anything much because we just arrived so we just stayed in my cousin's house. Following day we went to Mt Pinagbanderahan, Bantakay Falls, and Bantakay Caves. We have been to three places in just one day so you can tell that how tired we were that day. Mt Pinagbanderahan is not difficult to climb for it has a trail so you won't be lost but the good thing about it is you can see a lot of trees. Not just trees but tall trees that I can only see on TV. Why am I amazed? Well it is because it is rare to see a mountain that has trees here in the Philippines. Next we went to Bantakay falls. Now this is challenging because we arrived to the drop off at around 12PM we didn't waste anytime so we head on. Since it is 12PM you can imagine how hot it was that day specially it is summer. Eveything was paid off but the beautiful falls it is so clean and because it is quite hard to reach that there's only few people when we arrived. Then we went to Bantakay cave. I feel so relaxed when we entered the cave. Water inside the cave is so clean and you can hear the water current which is so relaxing plust the beautiful stalagmites and stalactites in the cave. Third day we went to a small island. Unlike Boracay there are only few people which is perfect because I can't enjoy in a crowded beach I don't know but for me being able to have fun with my friends and enjoy the scenery at the same time is the best. 

Sign the Petition and Help the Animals in China

My brother showed me this video clip posted by our cousin in facwww.facebook.comebook yesterday. This video is very alarming and I cried when I saw this video. I never thought that these people can do this. Animals are a living creature too. Being a dog or a cat does not mean that they cannot feel pain. We humans do not have the right to brutally kill animals. I have seen different animal brutality cases but those Chinese in that video are the worst people I know.  I don’t know why they are doing it but I’m sure they are out of their mind.  I hope that it will not happen again. I signed up the petition to help stop this brutality. I’m sure you want to stop this too. I can’t stand to watch this video over and over again but for the sake of these poor creatures I have posted the said video so you guys will be able to watch it and see for yourself. I know that you’ll feel the same way as I do so I am begging you to sign the petition. I signed it and I’ll pray for that they will stop animal brutality. I don’t know what I will do if I’d see my dog beaten to death, cooked alive, or skinned alive.

So Dallas Won But I Still Believe

God I can't work when I found out that Dallas won game five. All my brothers are excited to tell me that Miami lost the game. But it does not mean that we'll lose hope. They are up just by one game but it does not mean that they have won the championship. They are just up by one point and what I'm looking forward to Miami winning game six. They said it is hard to comeback when you lost game five but I don't care anything can change as long as they perform well defensively and offensively. Anyway, they have their star playes but come on we Heat has it's own star players too. I just hope that LeBron and his team mates will peform well on their next games specially now that they have home court advantage. I am not a basketball fan but I guess I am starting to be one.

Top Five Things that I want to Do When It is Raining

Now that summer is over and rainy season is up it is time to keep all those summer gears and get your umbrealla and jackets ready. When it is raining it is really not a good idea to go out.  I have put up a list of things that I like to do when it is raining.

#1  The first thing that I love to do when It is raining to is sleep. (sounds borning right?) But admit it most of us like to sleep when it is raining.

#2 Watch a movie. When it is raining we are always inside our house so there is nothing else to do but to watch a DVD. I would sometimes rent or buy DVDs and watch it with my brothers and sisters.

#3 Play video games. I will have my PS3 on and play RPG games or play Tekken or any games that we can all play.

#4 Eat noodles (chicken noodles to be exact).

#5 To top it all I love to eat champorado when it is raining. I don’t know why but that’s what I’m always doing whenever it is raining. My grandma cooks the best champorado  in my opinion (lol).  By the way champorado is chocolate rice porridge.

Well you see  summer and rainy season is the same we just need to know how to enjoy it.

Getting Exciting

Now that game four on NBA finals is over things are getting exciting. Both teams are great but to be honest I am rooting for Miami. I don't know why but most of the person I know wants Dallas Mavericks to win the finals. This will not stop me from rooting for Miami Heat. Dallas is a good team specially Dirk Nowitzki I just hope that Miami will be able to hang-on until the end and get the championship (I'm sure my brother will be mad at me once he read my blog post). LeBron James and the rest of his team are doing good but I think they can do better let's see what kind of performance they will show on their next game. I know they'll win for sure.

Divorce Bill?

I don't know what is going on to their minds but one thing is for sure they are not thinking straight. Like what I have said on my previous post they are pushing for RH BILL (which I don't think is a good idea). Responsible parenting is good but purchasing contraceptives using the country's money is a big no no. One thing is for sure we do not have that enough money so why spend some of it on contraceptives. Now that RH bill is a big issue they are pushing for another bill which I don't think will do any good and that is DIVORCE BILL. I don't know what is going on with them but I think they should focus in other things other than divorce and contraceptives. Being a catholic I understand the importance of marriage. I understand that there are couples that are not so happy and they do not want to live together but this does not mean that we should have this divorce bill. I don't know but what I do know is that there are a lot of important things that our government should focus in other things such as education and employment.
