Animax Musix

I went home very exhausted from work and I don’t feel like I have the strength to do anything else. But because I’m thinking that my off will be all go down to drain I decided to at least turn on my pc and log-on to facebook (=P). Unlike other people who are usually spent a lot of their time sleeping during their off I tend to stay awake as much time as I can because I am thinking that sleeping another way of wasting my time. In short, I want to maximize my off by doing all the things that I want to do. Going back to what I’ve said I logged on to facebook but I’m not really into facebook. I mean I have a facebook account but I’m just logging in to check on what my friends have posted and that’s it.

So I went to watch something off from YouTube. I checked Animax Musix and I showed up all the live performances during the Animax Musix Fall 2010. Watching them perform my favorite anime music made me feel happy and I’m energized again. I haven’t noticed that I’m singing while watching them perform. Listening to anime music makes me feel happy and it brings back good memories which made their songs special. I’m no Japanese so heck would I know the meaning of their songs but because of the great melodies and the memories that I get from those song makes these songs my favorite songs of all time.

Reinstalling Windows using USB Flashdrive

My computer is messing up since Friday and I hate it. Saturdays and Sundays are the days that I spend more than four hours surfing the net so it's pretty frustrating for me. Internet explorer is missing and whenever I open up an application it shows bad image. I tried running chkdsk it didn't work and I also ran sfc /scannow and it didn't work (though for bad image error running sfc /scannow will do the trick but on my case it didn't solve the issue). The only thing left to do is to reformat my system but the problem is my DVD drive is not working. So I had to find another way to solve the issue. I reinstalled Windows 7 using USB drive. Here are the step by step instruction on how to reformat using USB.

You will need the following:
  •  4GB USB Flash drive
  • Winrar
  • Windows 7
First, you should reformat your USB. Open command prompt as an administrator and type the following  commands one at a time:
  • DISKPART
  • Select disk # (Where # is the number of your USB stick.)
  • Clean (this command will remove any existing partition on your USB stick)
  • Create Partition Primary (creates a new primary partition with default parameter)
  • Select Partition 1 (focus on the newly created partition)
  • Active (sets in-focus partition to active)
  • Format FS=NTFS
  • Assign
  • Exit
Next is you have to use another PC in case your CD drive is not working like mine. View the files it contains. Copy all files on your desktop and paste it in your USB stick. Plug it on your system and make sure that you change temporarily the boot order in BIOS to allow booting from the USB stick. The restart your system and it should automatically begin loading windows files.

Summer Means Having Fun

It is summer now here in the Philippines. Everyone is excited about it and everyone busy planning where to go to spend their summer vacation. There are two things that I’m looking forward to every summer. One, is the holy week (being a religious country we sure don’t want to miss this one). During holy week all people go to different churches we call it “Visita de Iglesia” Holy week is the time where we think of Jesus and how to sacrificed himself to save us all (though we should always think of this everyday but this is a very specialy occasion (if I must say) to all Catholics. So, the other thing that excites me every summer is I get a chance to go to a nice place. When I say nice place it doesn’t mean fine dining restaurant, mall, or whatever because we can go to those places whenever we want to here in the city. When I say nice place I am pertaining to beaches, mountain, falls, river, or wherever outside the busy city that I live in. Last summer we went to Quezon. I have relatives in Quezon province so we don’t need to go to a hotel. We were planning to trek Mt Pinagbanderahan but unfortunately we our drivers are very lazy and they don’t want to take us there (but we will not hire them this time). So we go to plan B which is to go to an island.
We enjoyed the the beautiful scene on that island. We had fun playing in the beach and I spent most of the time sitting in there enjoying the beatiful scene. Philippines is a beautiful country for there are a lot of beautiful places that you can go to.  I just hope that its people will learn to appreciate nature in a positive way. What I mean in a positive way is not to take advantage of our nature or of those beautiful places for their own good. Whenever they see a beautiful place they tend to take that as an opportunity to increase their wealth by building hotels near the beach and they don’t care even if they destroy a mountain just to get what they want. I hope that government officials will not be blinded by  these businessmen and would be more concern in our country’s future. I am not saying that we should not take advantage of these places but what I am saying is that we should preserve this places and show to everyone its true beauty. I don’t think that not putting up a hotel in a beach will make it less beautiful.

Praying for Japan

I was so suprised and scared when my sister told me about what happend in Japan yesterday. Earthquake and tsunami hit Japan. I saw the video on TV and I feel so sorry for them. I feel so scared too that it can also happen here in the Philippines. I kept thinking on what I should do if it happens but I am hoping that it won’t (of course). I can’t do anything to help them but all I can do is to pray for them.
With all the things that are happening around the world I can’t help but think of what will happend in the future. I’ve watched a program in National Geographic today and it’s about what will happend to earth (now I’m really scared). They said that because of the intense heart plants are dying. If all plants will die then we don’t have a choice but to go to the ocean to survive. However, because of too much heat then sea will be too much salty and all the creatures in the ocean/sea will vanish. They also mentioned that the sun is getting bigger and after some billion years the sun will eat up or destroy the earth.

I don’t want to believe what those people are saying but again I can’t help but feel scared of what will happend in the future. Anyway going back to what happend in Japan, please let’s help them through  our prayers and let’s pray that such incident will not happen again anywhere in our planet.

Final Fantasy XIII

Finally, I am playing Final Fantasy XIII. Been waiting for this moment ever since I they released final fantasy XIII on PS3. I was able to buy PS3 last month and since then I been so excited to play this game. I started to like Final Fantasy since Final Fantasy VII. They have a good plot and characters are really great. I just hope that they would have stayed faithful to the concept of previous final fantasy series. I don’t have anything to say about the graphics because it is awesome and way better than the previous final fantasy. Good graphics is one factor but what we gamers want is a good story and good concept (I think it is just the same =P). But I hope that Final Fantasy VII can be played in PS3 with the same graphics as what I has on its movie (that would be really great) and I’m sure a lot of video game fans will really enjoy it.  Anyway, going back to final fantasy XIII I posted it’s trailer so you will have an idea on what I am talking about though I know most of you are already aware of it.

Samsung LCD TV Experience

I am thinking of getting a new TV for myself this year. With all the new type of LED TVs displayed in malls today that is why I am tempted to buy a new one. But come to think of it, if I have  an LCD TV why bother getting a new one? I guess I am not wise enough when it comes to budgeting my money. The TV that I have right now is Samsung series 3 LCD TV. I know it is just series 3 TV but I must say that I very satisfied with that TV. I’ve performed color calibration on it which helped bring out great colors which I really like.
I am planning to stick with Samsung on my next purchase. I don’t plan to get the their very high –end model but I want to try their LED TV (Series 5 LED TV to be exact). IT has different features which my current TV doesn’t have. It has a usb port where you can just plug your USB flash drive and view your pics and videos. It has 4 HDMI output which is ideal for me that way I will not need a switch for my ps3, dvd player, and HD box.  Well I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to LED TVs but I have enough experience to stick with Samsung for my new LED TV.
