Kulo Exhibit by Mideo Cruz for me is not art. Moderm Filipinos who call them selves "free thinkers" or whatever considers the said exhibit as an art but for me it is a mere trash. One thing that I always keep in mind and that is to always respect other people. I respect Mideo Cruz as an artist but what I can't understand is why he did such thing. Freedom of expression is not absolute. You see you can express your opinions in anyway but you need to make sure that you respect other people as well. If you want to be respected then you need to respect other people too. For those "modern" filipinos they don't mind what he did because of freedom of expression but what if it is your picture or your mother's picture and not Jesus would you still consider it as "freedom of expression" and will not do something about it? It is as simple as that. Same thing in using social networking, we are free to post whatever we want to post in our wall and to someone's wall but we need to be responsible in posting in walls in social networking because we don't want to offend anybody right? It is the same thing so he should have thought about it before creating his so called "art" Don's use freedom of expression as an excuse because everyone has the right to express what they feel but everyone has the right for "RESPECT"

Time to Stand Up
Now that the President has declared that RH BILL will be prioritized it is time to stand up for those who believe that the said bill should not passed. I personally do not agree with the bill even if they changed some of the provisions on the said bill. No matter what even if it is based on scientific truth as what others are saying I believe that this is a non-sense bill. Preventing unwanted pregnancy and educating everyone about contraceptives doesn’t help us escape poverty. Catholics or non-Catholics we all believe in the value of life and the sanctity of marriage. Opposing to the said bill doesn’t mean that you are a NOT a free thinker. They said that Filipinos are copy cats and that Catholics are copy-cats of other Catholic countries and those countries have reproductive health bills and divorce. Well, I cannot say NO to that but even if we are Catholics same as those other countries it doesn’t mean that we should also copy what they are doing even if we think it is wrong. There are lot of things that our government should prioritize why focus on reproductive health? To avoid unwanted pregnancy?, Protection from sexually transmitted disease? hmmm… that made me wonder because last time I saw on TV that there are cases of unwanted pregnancy in the US and it involves teenagers given that they have reproductive health bill. Last time I saw in iWitness’s “KALAM” they featured a poor family they have 6 kids and the father is a fisherman. Sometimes he can’t get anything so he won’t have any fish to sell. Now, they have six kids and let’s say because of reproductive health instead of having six kids they had only two. Do you think it will change anything?

Quite a Job Hunting Experience for a Home Based Job
I love my job that I am getting a good compensation that is why I never thought of getting a second job. But because I realized that I have so much time which is enough to accommodate a part time job so why don't I search for one. I went online and tried searching for a home based job. I was disappointed when I found out that there are lots of scams out there I feel sorry for those people who are really serious about getting a home based jobs because looking for a job online requires time even if you will just sit in front of your computer and search the web. Well I was able to find a legit website where you can find an online job that will pay you. I registered on that site but I haven't started applying for any job yet because I am planning to do that this weekend. I know it is legit because I have a friend who signed up in oDesk and she is earning. So guys if you are interested you can check oDesk.com. And as for me I will try it too it is a good way to spend my spare time.
Migrating to US
My boyfriend is applying for a F2B visa. He’s almost at the end of the process and by watching him I can say that it is not easy to apply for a visa. He is not yet finished with his medical examination in St Lukes. He just finished his sputum smear examination yesterday and they will get the result of the said exam today. Even if they result is negative he will still need to wait for two months for the result of the culture test which means they will not make it on time for their interview on Monday but St Lukes will reschedule the interview. He’s been going back and forth for almost a week now and I can see how tired he is. I’m praying that everything will be okay including the interview that way he can go to US to be with his dad.

iWitness "Kalam"
After watching iWitness awhile ago I suddenly realized how important it is to not to waste anything especially your food. iWitness "kalam" or hunger is a real eye opener for me. It shows the real life of a poor family on how they trying to survive each day. I felt pity for those people and I hope our government will do something about it. Imagine a family who only eats rice and salt every day. The head of the family is a fisherman but there are days that he can't catch anything which means no food for his family. Children are luck if they have coffee that they can drink every morning otherwise they will go to school with an empty stomach. I questioned myself how come our government is not doing anything to help these poor people. Well they think they are doing something which is to help the people learn how to do family planning and use contraceptives. They say over population increases poverty but I personally think that over population is not the reason why lot of people are not eating properly. Come to think of it the family that I have mentioned has I beleive four children. Let' say their parents tried family planning so instead of having four children they only have two do you think they will not be on the same situation if they only have to children? They father a fisherman sometimes could not catch any fish or crab at all an aside from being a fisherman they don't have any other source of income. Well they collect firewoods that they can sell for 15 Php per bundle so you can say they earn at least 50 Php a day do you think their situation would be better if they have only two children instead of four? I but not it would still be the same. But what if, their parents we're given a chance to learn something that will help them have a good source of income let's say a skills program or anything. Do you think their situation will be better? Well there is a big chance because they will be given an opportunity to improve their lives and feed their childrenn properly.

Akiyama Loss to Belfort
Quite sad about Yoshihiro Akiyama's loss to Vitor Belfort today. I am rooting for Akiyama because I think he's good fighter in a sense that he's a smart fighter and has a good attitude. The fight was finished on the first round Belfort had a good chance and he hit him hard that made the referee decided to stop the game. Though he lost to Belfort I will still look forward on his upcoming games.
