I Saw the Devil - The Best Suspense Movie

I have time to watch movie yesterday and I'm in the mood of watching suspense thriller movies. So, I went through my DVDs and decided to watch my favorite suspense thriller movie. I watch Hollywood movies and do not get me wrong most of the good movies are produced in the US but I'm also a fan of Korean Suspense movies. I believe that they are doing a great job creating suspense movies. I have watched almost ALL of their suspense films and my favorite of all is "I Saw the Devil".

In case you do not know yet, "I Saw the Devil" is quite an old movie because it was produced 2010. I maybe speaking too much of it but for those people who like suspense movie, I highly suggest that you watch it and I know you will find it very interesting and unique.

Belated Happy Birthday Jackie Chan

Well I maybe late but like the old saying "It's better to be late than never" I'd like to say belated happy birthday to my number one movie hero Mr Jackie Chan. Jackie celebrated his birthday on April 7, 2012. I've always looked up to him since I was a child because I know for sure even if I haven't seen him in person that he is a great guy. I hope he would still be able to make a lot of films because I am a big fan of him and I never get tired of watching all his movies. Although a lot of actors are trying to copy his technique in action films I'm really happy for him because it only mean that they look up to him too. I'm praying that God will give him a long a happy life.

The Avengers Movie Review

I was waiting for this movie since last year and finally I was able to watch Thor, Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America and the rest of the gang in one film. I had a terrible day yesterday but because of the film I was able to move on. The movie was not just good but it was great! It was action packed film that everybody will enjoy. It's full of humor not just because Tony Stark is part of the film. I initially thought that Mark Ruffalo doesn't suit to Hulk's character but to be honest he was able to carry his role pretty well. Thor is handsome as always same with Captain America. But what I loved the most is the plot of the film I mean it was never that serious and it is very entertaining. To those people who haven't watch and are planning to watch the film I must say that you are not wasting your money and time by watching this movie. The Avengers is the best film so far that I've ever watched this year.

Excited for Avengers Film (2012)

What makes Marvel fans excited for the upcoming Avengers movie? You see most the people I know are looking forward to the Avengers movie. Hope they will make a great job on that film that way it will be worth the wait. The idea of having some marvel heroes in one movie makes me wonder how much budget do they spent on this film. The cast of the film includes Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo and Cobie Smulders. I saw Chris Hemsworth in Thor and I can say he’s really good looking and he carried his role well as Thor. I sure want to see Scarlet do some action stunts and I can’t wait to watch Iron man’s humor. All my brothers are excited too and I’m sure my boyfriend in states is also excited. By the way it is so early to get excited because the film is set to be released next year but I hope that this won’t be a disappointment to most of us specially those “real” Marvel fans. Come on when I say real it is those people who are claiming they know everything about Marvel. I don’t know a lot to be honest but for me as long as they deliver a good movie then I have no problem with it.

Scream 4

I was so excited to watch Scream 4 because I’ve been a fan of Scream movies since I was in high school. I actually think that suspense movies in the 90s are way better than suspense movies that they are producing today.  I enjoyed the film but I think it is not the same as the other Scream movies. I’m quite disappointed with the movie in a way I think that the story is so simple and I think the story is not as good as the other Scream movies. Good thing on this movie is I get to see the stars of the old Scream movies and I can say that they’re good. There are some scary scenes but it is not that scary and the only thing that disappointed me on this film is the story. Well this is just based on my opinion guys it always depend on the viewers. To those peeps who watched the feel free to express your opinion about the film. J

Steven Spielberg Plans for Another Jurassic Park Trip

This is a big news to all moviegoers or Steven Spielberg fans out there. He said that  man-eaters are returning to a movie theater near you. He just told the audiences at the Comic-Con International Convention that he was at work on a new Jurassic Park movie. I remember I used to watch Jurassic Park when I was a kid to be honest I used to watch it over and over in our VHS player. Spielberg said "We have a story. We have a writer working on the script, and I think we will see a 'Jurassic 4' in our foreseeable future, probably in the next two or three years."This is going to be fun and I am excited to watch this film together with my nephews I'm sure they will love it.

Jack and Jill

I love Adam Sandler's films I think he is really funny. I am excited to watch his new film Jack and Jill not just because it is a comedy movie and it stars Adam Sandler but the cast also includes Katie Holmes. I love Katie ever since the Dawson's Creek days so you can say I am really excited. Jack and Jill is about a family man who is forced to deal with his twin sister from the Bronx comes to Los Angeles for a visit then won't leave.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows

Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson are back to bring down their fiercest adversary, Professor Moriarty. Yes Sherlock Holmes is back on the big screen and I can't wait to watch it. Been watching the said film over and over in HBO. I've been a fan of Sherlock Homes ever since I was in high school that is why I am so excited to watch it again in the big screen. I think it would be exciting and funny movie based on its trailer.

Amy Adams as Lois Lane

Amy Adams will play the role of Lois Lane in the upcoming Superman film which is set to release in 2012. I was just wondering why they changed the actors/actress that played Superman and Lois Lane in the previous film. Well I like Amy Adams but I was just wondering why? Anyway, whatever reason they have I know for sure that a lot of Superman fans out there will still be excited to watch the said film. I was surprised when I found out that Amy Adams is the new Lois Lane. I started to like Amy when I watched her film Enchanted and Leap Year. I'm not a big fan of Superman though but my boyfriend is. But since Amy will be on that film I guess I will watch it. =)

Final Destination 5

I was watching TV yesterday when I run into Starmovie's VIP access. It features upcoming movies and one of their feature film is Final Destination 5. I was suprised to see that because I didn't expect that it will have another sequel. In all four movies the first one is what I liked the most. I love the cast and it is a pure suspense movie unlike the other three movies I mean specially the third and fourth because it feel like it is a gore film. I hope the fifth film will not be another gore film but instead I would love they will stick to the basic I mean same concept as the first film but anyway I am not saying that the rest of its sequels are not good but I just want to say that I like the concept of the film. Among the casts are the following Nicholas D'Agosto, David Koechner, Tony Todd,Emma Bell. The said film is set to release August 12, 2011. I sure fans of the said movie will be excited to watch another Final Destination franchise this year. The movie is directed by Steven Quale. I'm sure I will enjoy this film.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

I have watched Harry Potter for the past 10 years and it is really sad that this is the last installment of the said film. Everything has an end and everything has been great. For sure this is a good movie just like any other Harry Potter series. The said movie will be released on July and I will not going to miss it. They keep on comparing it with Twilight which I cannot understand because Twilight though it involves wolves and vampires is just a romance movie for me. Harry Potter is about magic and adventure. Of course there is a mix of teenage romance in it but in general it is an adventure. I’m sure a lot of Harry Potter fans will line up on the first day of its release so I need to get there early because I don’t want to fall in line. It is a good addition to my DVD collection. It is a good film for everybody and I hope that it has a good ending otherwise a lot of its fans will be disappointed. I posted its trailer below so if you haven’t watched the trailer feel free to play the video below.

Pirates of The Caribbean Did it Again!

Without any plans of doing anything yesterday I suddenly wanted to watch a movie. Watched th "Priest" last Saturday and our plan to watch "Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides" never happened. So I said to myself if they don't want to watch it them I'd go and watch it. Went to the mall yesterday bought a ticket and popcorn (cheese flavor). Went inside the movie theater they said the film will start at 11:30 and I went inside 11:15 to my surprise I was the only one inside the theater. I doesn't mean that the movie was not a success well it is actually a success it's just that I watch the movie just right after the mall opened so you can expect that not a lot of people would want to watch a movie at that time. I'm quite scared because nothing is playing so it's just dark (I actually wanted to go out but I'm so shy to do that) Now going back to the film, I watched all Pirates of the Caribbean film and "On Strangers Tides" is the best Pirates movie of all. Well I like Orlando Bloom but his absence didn't stopped me from having fun watching this film. On Stranger Tides will take you to an exciting adventure and you'll definitely love Captain Jack Sparrow's humor. It is a funny film there is nothing I can say about the graphics other than excellent and the actors are good. I like Penelope Cruz's character she plays Angelica, Jack Sparrows female version. The film features beautiful places. This movie is yet the best film that I have watched this year. I know there are a lot of good movies that will soon be released but for now I'd say Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is worth watching.

Weekend Hang Out

My brothers went to the mall last weekend to watch a movie. We watched "Priest" because we have been planning to watch that movie since it was released last week. A lot of movie goers are out to watch a movie that day since it is Saturday so that is expected. I guess 7 cinemas are showing "Pirates of the Caribbean" and there is only one cinema where you can watch "Priest." I almost thought that the movie is not that successful because when I went to buy a ticket almost all the people who bought a ticket ahead of me purchased a ticket to watch "Pirates of the Caribbean" That didn't changed anything we sticked to the plan and we watch "Priest." It was a good movie. I'll rate that film four out of five (five being the highest). It is not a great movie but it's worth the money that I've spent. It is not boring but I guess it's quite short but I think it will have a sequel. After watching "Priest" we tried to search for a restaurant where we can have dinner. But all restaurants are full imagine it's 6PM so what will you expect so we ended up in Kenny Rogers. After having our dinner we are heading to the parking lot to go home and we saw SMART Gilas. I am not a big fan but I took a picture of Chris Tiu (so that I can brag it to my sister.Cause she has a big crush on him). Well I guess it was fun so we're planning to go out on Saturday again. This time we'll watch Pirates of the Caribbean.

Thor

I am a movie fan not exactly a "Marvel" fan but as a movie goer I get to appreciate good movies. Because I don't have anything to do I decided to go to the mall and watch a movie. Can't decide what to watch but I ended up watching "Thor" I didn't know that I would like this movie until I watched it. It has a simple story but the characters and the visuals are the big factor as to why I thought this film is great. Actors has done good job playing their role. The film was never boring I like the fact that they added humor to the film. Natalie Portman is always beautiful =) I hope that they will come up with the sequel but at the end credit it showed "Thor will return in avengers" or something so I guess I will see him on  the big screen but it's not gonna be his own movie and he will be joining other superheroes. Thor is so handsome I must say but in total Thor is a good film that everyone can enjoy. Now I can't wait for the Avengers.

Vanishing on 7th Street

My friend told me to watch Vanishing on 7^th Street because she said it’s a good movie blah blah blah.  Because I trust her then I tried watching the said movie. The movie stars Hayden Christensen. Well the good thing about that movie is it has a hot lead star and that is it. I mean I was curious in what will happen to the characters and all but I don’t get the point of the movie. Why are the people vanishing and what happened to them? I was thinking that I’ll be able to see why it was happening if I watch it to the end but to my disappointment it didn’t and worst Hayden disappeared. I understand that the shadow is afraid of light but where did it came from? Nobody knows until the very end which is really sad. I can’t say anything on stars of the film but what I can say is I don’t like that film. I’d rather play video games all day or surf the net all day than watch that film. Oh well to those who are planning to watch the film I’m so sorry to spoil everything but I really can’t help it. I have high expectations on this film thanks to my good friend who I believe wants to fool me by making me believe that it is a nice film. Or maybe she just doesn’t have a good taste in movies.
