Today I found myself in front of my PC refreshing the Facebook page every three minutes just to check what my friends have posted. Do you find it weird? I think those people who are totally obsessed in using social network sites will be mad at me if I’ll say “I hate it” It is so boring and makes me think that I’m not being productive at all. What’s so fun on reading your friends’ status from time to time? You think I’m just getting old? I don’t think so because I know some people who are in their 40-50s that are always online in facebook. Let’s see…. What are the things that keep you logged in all the time? Aside from checking your friend’s wall you want to check on new pictures that your friends uploaded and then what? Now I totally agree with my mom when she told me that sitting in front of computer without anything important to do consume your energy maybe because you feel bored because it happened to me a while ago. But I’m sure that I will not do it again instead I will stay on line but not for a long time.

New Facebook Chat a Big No No
All my friends are so frustrated with new facebook chat. I can understand why they want to switch back to the old facebook chat because the new facebook chat is quite complicated. Number one you can't view all your online friends in the new facebook chat I don't know why but you can only view few online friends. Unlike in the old chat box it shows all your online friends. Imagine I can only view like twelve online friends using the new facebook chat but when I tried to revert to the old one it shows I have fifty two online friends. Change is good but it should be for the better and not to complicate things. I just hope they would completely switch back to the old facebook chat.

In the World of Social Networking
Social networking is fun I can't say anything about it. It helped not only me to easily connect with my old friends but my relatives outside the country. I have facebook and twitter account and I was able to gain new friends by joining those social networking sites which made social networking fun but remember that you have to be responsible and you need to make sure that you protect yourself just think of the word "privacy" Well it is not only the persons who are listed on your friends list are the only person who can read your wallposts or comments but also those people who are listed on the friends list of your friends. Now, you need to make use of the "privacy settings" there might be information that you posted on your wall or comments that you posted that you don't want other people to see so you better be careful. If possible, avoid posting your address, email address, or telephone number on your profile. In terms of being responsible make sure that you don't just post anything that can offend someone. Always think that everyone can read your wallpost this is just a way to show respect to other people. Social networking is fun but we need to be responsible.
