The Return of Superman - A Good Stress Reliever

As a working mom and a full time mom, I really never get to have a chance to watch movies whenever I want or even to play gaming console games anymore. But there's one thing that I always have time except for taking care of my kid and working, that is to watch "The Return of Superman" in KBS. The show is about Father taking care of their kids for 48hours. It is not only entertaining but you can learn a lot from that TV show. I like how the fathers take time to care for their kids and how they look for fun ways to teach them.

I have some clips below, please watch them and enjoy.

How to File Pagibig Housing Loan - Retail

I see lots of people trying to file housing loan in Pagibig. I tried it once and it really is quite easy. But what if you are filing for retail house and lot? When we say "Retail" it means you are buying a house outside of real state company. Let's say someone you know is selling his/her house and you want to buy it through Pagibig. Yes, is possible. You will need lots of paper works but once everything are all set processing is easy.

First thing you need to do is to prepare the required documents. Then, they will schedule an inspection to the property you are buying. The price of the property determined in the inspection can affect your loan-able amount.

Learn to Know when to Shut your Mouth

We all know that it is hard to shut our mouth especially if we get too excited, angry or just about anything at all (at least for the most of us). But me for I have been working for more than 12 years, I was able to see how words affects not just your but your work and everybody else around you.

I was a victim too of people that are saying bad things behind your back. Well, for some reason other people will give you comments without considering how you feel which sucks. I know that there are instances where I did that too and trust me it feels bad after you realize what you have done and it is too late.

I may not able to list everything but below are the things you have to consider before opening your mouth:

  • Does it concern you? If it is none of your business, then close your mouth.
  • Will it hurt other people?
  • Do you have proof?
  • Will you gain something from it?

The Hunt for Spoken Word Skit

I was watching The Grammy's yesterday and there is a part where celebrities are reading off from "Fire and Fury" book. I think that is not so good and it was very brave move for it can ruin the night (at least that's what I'm thinking but I may be wrong). I think they should have stick to celebrating music. This is just based on my own opinion.

I really couldn't explain it, but if you haven't watched it please see for yourself below.

Sorry, this is off topic but BRUNO MARS is so cool for bagging 6 awards. Congratulations!!!

Looking Back at My Life

I am right here sitting in my couch looking back on how my life went through for the past 33 years. At this time I believe that I have experienced everything and with God's grace I was able to overcome all of the obstacles that I encounter in my life.

My first challenge was when I was a little girl, I am a  kind of person who does not want to be left behind but does not know how to fight back. I have a friend who used to bully me whenever I defeat her on our games. Weird because she has been one of my closest friends. During grade school my dad has always high hopes for me. He doesn't want to sign my report card and he would throw it whenever my scores are behind his expectations. I worked hard to meet his expectations but failed to show him because he passed away when I was 13.

During high school, I can remember my mom working all day washing clothes of other people to feed us. I am proud of her but feel sorry for her at the same time. I couldn't help but feel sad whenever I visit her in her work place and I see her running errands. I told myself that she will not have to do it once I have a work. As a teenager, I could have party with my friends but I decided to stay home and take care of my siblings. I remember saving my lunch money so I can share it with my brothers and sisters in order for them to have something to eat at school. It goes on until my college days. I used to spend my lunch time in our library working on homework because I do not have money.

Because my mom couldn't send me to school anymore, I decided to stop studying and apply for a job. After months of job hunting, I was finally accepted by a BPO company back then it was so hard to get into a BPO company because they prefer college graduates and they require you to have American accent. I cried after I signed my job offer and promised my family that I will take care of them. This happened 12 years ago, today I am very grateful to the Lord for allowing me to experience all the hardships and for believing in me.

As a mom, my only wish right now is to give my son a good life and I will raise him as a good person who fears and believes in God.

God, had let me go through all of it because He knows I can. I am very proud of what I have been through and so thankful that I have my family to support me all through out.

The Cutest Baby I've Seen

All babies are cute (please do not get me wrong) they are all beautiful. However, I really couldn't take my eyes off on Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dante's baby. She's so beautiful and seemed very energetic too.

Credit Card Nightmare

I has been years but I can still remember how I was back the. I was young and happy that I was approved for a credit card. I told myself that I would only use it for "Emergency" situations but that not what happened. I ended up swiping my card whenever I feel like it. I didn't know that my debt is filing up. I have been paying, yes, but it wasn't enough to cover all of my balance as the day goes by my balance is getting bigger and bigger.

One day, I received a phone call from a collections agent asking for my payment. The agent was so rude as if I owe him anything. Back then I just moved to a new company which means I do not have enough pay to cover all my bills. They keep on calling me everyday and what makes it hard is that they are harassing me. They told me that they will come to my place and take my things as payment things like that. One time an agent told me that they will go to our Barangay to file complaint against me and then there's this one incident that they told me that a sheriff will show up to my place.

Honestly, I wasn't able to sleep because of the harassment that I received. I remember one agent even came to my place pretending to be a lawyer. He spoke to my mom and it made her very uncomfortable. I really do not know what to do until my friend who works at a bank told me the following:

  • Bank representative/lawyer will never go to your place. So if someone comes in and makes a scene get their name and file a complaint to BSP.
  • Some people are rejecting collection notice, you should accept it as proof that you are residing at the address on file because they might use that in case they file a complaint.
  • If they file a case against you, go to the court and tell them how you can pay off your debt. There you will have a chance to pay your debt according to how you want to pay it. But most of the time, they DO NOT file a case because they do not want waste time and money.
  • Collection agents are most of the time from third party collections agencies, bank sells delinquent/cancelled accounts to third party collection agencies. If they get you to pay, that's how they will earn.

Knowing all the stuff I mentioned is good but then there is no better way to avoid Bad Debt other than spending wisely. Do not buy anything that you cannot pay right away. I have learn my lesson in a hard way, I hope you guys have learned something from me.
